SAN FRANCISCO – December 14, 2009 – Attune Foods, maker of the world’s first Probiotic Chocolate Bar, announced today that it has acquired the Uncle Sam and Erewhon cereal brands from US Mills, LLC, further expanding its portfolio of great tasting food products that deliver digestive health benefits.
Uncle Sam cereal, introduced in 1908, is an all natural, high fiber cereal that contains a unique blend of toasted whole grain wheat flakes and flaxseed. In addition to providing an excellent source of naturally occurring dietary fiber, it is low in sodium and sugar.
